Newberry High School is a part of the Alachua County Public Schools. NHS is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), the governing body of high school athletics. The NHS Girls' Soccer team is classified as a 3A (District 3) particpant in FHSAA sanctioned contests. News Article - District Tournament - Jan 9, 2008 The number three seeded NHS Panthers will face off against second seed, Ft. White on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at 5:00PM. Top-seed P.K. Yonge will square off against Williston at 7:00PM. The winners of both games advance to the district championship on Thursday, January 17, 2008, at 7:00PM. The district champion and runner up move on to the regional tournament. All games will be played at P.K. Yonge. Please come and show your Panther Pride and cheer on the girls next Tuesday!

The boys and girls soccer teams will be participating in the contest Saturday, December 29, 2007, at 2:00PM.
