Congratulations... 

I want to congratulate both the boys and girls teams this year for a great effort. I was proud to see the improvemnet in all five Sky Hawks teams this past season. I want to thank all of the coaches and players for their dedication and hard work. We will be having a Pizza Party for both our boys and girls teams in the next week or so. Each player will receive a Sky Hawks t-shirt for their participation in the program. Each player will be notified by email about the specific date of the pizza party. Have a great summer!

Fall Program...

The Mass Sky Hawks will have a fall AAU program. Try-outs dates will be announced during the summer. They will be either late in August or early September. We will look to field boys teams 5th - 8th grade and girls teams 5th - 9th grade. The fall season will run from September - early November. Teams will participate in 4-5 events. Girls 11U Do It Again...

The Girls 11U Team went 4-0 this past weekend in the Lady Gators Summer Sizzler and earning the tournament championship. The Girls 11U Team has now gone 8-0 in its last 8 games. Next up for the Sky Hawks is the tough North Central Blaze Summer Shoot-Out. Congratulations girls!

Girls 10U Making Big Improvements

The Girls 10U Team went 2-2 this past weekend in the Sports Zone Spring Fling. The Girls 10U Team displayed some tenacious defense and an inspired energy level. Keep up the good work girls!

Skyhawks Best At Mountain Dew Classic

Congratulations to the Skyhawks Boys 11U Team as they took top honors by winning the 11U Tournament Championship at the Mountain Dew Classic. Great job to the coaches and players!

Fall AAU Program 

The Mass. Sky Hawks Basketball program will be having a Fall Program (September - November). This is a great time for players to get in shape and work on their skills for their travel basketball season. AAU teams also use this time to refine their teams for the next season. Teams in the Fall Season will compete in 4-5 tournaments. We are hoping to have programs for boys & girls 9 - 14 years old. More information about this program will be released soon. AAU Age Determination Rules:

The national AAU age determination for BOYS is based on a boy's age as of September 1, 2008. The boys also have a grade exception rule which allows a boy who may have been kept back one year in school to be eligible to play at the grade level he is in.

The national AAU age determination for GIRLS is based on a girl's age as of July 1, 2007. This is a new rule change as of this year by AAU. This is a national rule and all AAU girls basketball clubs will be based on this new ruling.
